What is garden tool storage?

A GearHooks Garden Tool Hooks Rack will hold around 30 tools on a 1 metre long wall mounted rack and can save a lot of space.

Garden tool storage can be anything from an old bucket to a wall mounting rack. Storing in a container can make tools hard to get to. Ordinary garden tool hooks store one garden tool at a time so they take up a lot of wall space very quickly. 

The GearHooks® GDN5 is the highest capacity Garden Tool Hooks Rack you can buy. It's ideal for anyone with a lot of gardening tools but not much space. The key to its success is being able to store lots of tools one behind the other as well as next to each other.

If you have a messy pile of rusting garden tools in the corner of your shed or garage and you can never find the one you want, then this may be the solution.

It's also very heavy duty and can hold chain saws, hedge trimmers, mauls and  sledgehammers. This is not a row of cheap hooks that will use up all your wall space in no time. It's not a cheap folded wire rack that will bend trying to hold a sledge hammer or an axe either (each of our hooks will hold 4 at a time). 

It's a high capacity, heavy duty, steel rack with 5 tool hooks all mounted on a 1 metre long wall mounting rail.

Each GearHook® tool hook is 300mm long so you can stack 5, 6 or more tools, one behind the other, on each of the 5 hooks. That’s around 25 or 30 tools per metre! 

You would use up 5M or 6M of wall space with ordinary garden tool storage racks that only store tools 1 deep. That means it works out cheaper too.

If you have even more tools you can fit more than one rack next to each other.

Each Garden Tool Hooks Rack includes a 1 metre long steel rail and fittings for brick, block, concrete or wooden walls. Once the rail is fitted to the wall (with just 3 bolts) you can add and move tool hooks in seconds, without any more drilling.

The rack comes with 5 special GearHooks® for all manner of tools from hand trowels to spades, sledge hammers, hedge trimmers. chain saws and much more.

The 1Metre long steel rail is galvanised and powder coated in your colour choice so it looks great and won’t rust.

Each of the 5 GearHooks® is made from 8mm diameter galvanised steel which can be fitted in any position and moved with just an Allen key. Each one is 300mm long, has a 45-60mm gap between prongs and will support up to 20Kg (with really heavy items closest to the wall).

Electric or petrol strimmers, hedge cutters, leaf blowers and even chain saws are no problem.

Tools can be stored over both prongs, between the prongs or can be hung on separate prongs. Each of the GearHooks® can be adjusted left and right as well as up and down to avoid items hitting each other.

Each of the 5 hooks will hold any mixture of;

Short tools (5-8):

• Spades, shovels, digging fork, trenching shovels, edger
• Pruning shears, hedge shears, edging shears, loppers

Long tools (5-8):

• Rakes, Brooms, Hoes, long handled spades

Heavy tools (3-5):

• Sledge hammers, mauls, axes

 Electric or Petrol tools (2-3):

• Strimmer,  hedge trimmer, leaf blower/garden vacuum, chain saw

Small hand tools (10+ ):

• Hand trowel, fork, dibber, pruning shears,

Extra hooks are available for special jobs like hanging lawnmowers, seed broadcasters or any wide item sideways to save wall space.

Quick and easy to fit

Fitting is simple, on a shed or garage wall. The rail has over 20 mounting slots and can be mounted by drilling just 3 holes.

The GearHooks® can then be fitted anywhere on the rail and adjusted up, down and sideways with just an Allen Key.
