Guitar wall hanger - guitar wall hooks - guitar storage and display rack
The Ultimate Guitar Rack
Store more guitars in less space than you ever thought possible and fit it in minutes not hours.
The GearHooks® GTR3 guitar wall rack is a unique and stunning way to store and display up to 9 guitars in just 1M of wall space. Mount one above the other to save even more space.
If you really want to make a statement you can mount them at an angle or in 'V's 'zig-zags' and 'waves'.
No matter how many guitars you need to store you only need to drill 3 holes for each rack so fitting is really quick and easy,
Whether you're looking for an impressive and space saving way to display your collection in a house or apartment or you want a compact and accessible way to store your instruments in a studio, school, college or university this may be the solution.
As well acoustic and electric guitars* you can also mount mandolins, ukuleles, banjos and even clarinets, cornets, tambourines and just about any other musical instrument.
Each guitar rack is fitted with 3 GearHooks® and will store up to 3, 6 or 9 guitars depending on the length of the GearHooks.
The image above shows one of each length of GearHook® (but this is just to show you the difference). Each rack is supplied with the rail and 3 hooks ready to take 3, 6 or 9 guitars depending on which model you choose:
The GTR3-100 has 3 x 100mm long GearHooks® which hold one guitar each.
The GTR3-200 has 3 x 200mm long GearHooks® which hold two guitars each.
The GTR3-300 has 3 x 300mm long GearHooks® which hold three guitars each.
Each GearHook has a soft silicone coating** to protect your guitars. The rail comes in a choice of colours (red, orange, blue, green, yellow, grey, white and black) so you can match your decor or guitars.
All the GTR3 racks, which can take up to 9 guitars, mount with just 3 holes so fitting is really quick and easy. Screwing 1 ordinary guitar hook to the wall would probably mean you correctly lining up and drilling 4 tiny holes. Fitting enough for 3 guitars would mean 12 holes. For 9 guitars that would be 36 holes!! That's a lot of drilling and lots of opportunities to get it wrong.
All our racks fit with just 3 x 8mm holes that are quick and easy to drill and, because the rails fit via a slot, you can be a few mm off and the rail will still be spot on.
GearHooks® mount on the rail via a sliding nut and clamp that allow the hooks to be fitted anywhere on the rail. You can even rotate the hooks which means you can mount the rail at an angle or mount 2 rails in a V shape to really make a statement.
Some photographs show extra storage hooks so you can store smaller instruments, headphones, microphones, leads and more in between the guitars to really make use of wall space. (these are an optional extra and not included as standard).
The rack is supplied, as standard, with GearHooks® with a 45-55mm gap. This is ideal for a mixture of acoustic and electric guitars* with a ’standard’ 45mm neck. If you have some 12 string or Spanish guitars with a wider neck it is possible to open up the prongs, on longer GearHooks, to make the outermost gap(s) wider.
The GearHooks® Guitar rack is designed and manufactured in the UK, supported throughout Europe and Guaranteed for Life.

* Heavy guitars with curved necks may force open the prongs on longer hooks so we supply a strap, which can be fitted after the first or second guitar, to stop this happening. We recommend storing the heaviest guitars closest to the wall.
** Nitrocellulose Lacquer Warning - some guitars with a Nitrocellulose finish (like some Gibson Les Pauls, Fender, Martin and others) may react with the Silicone coating on the GearHooks. Please check for this (regardless of the finish on your guitars) before using the product.

The Gearhooks system is an excellent storage option for multiple guitars. Extremely impressed with how well made and solid it is - this is a heavy duty option. It comes with all the necessary fixings required for fitting onto a standard (brick) wall, but also includes detailed fixing guides to fitting on most other scenarios.
My wall of choice was a plasterboard wall with not many baton fixings so I was wary about fixings and whether it would be up to it.
The guide suggested fixing a separate baton and then fixing the Gearhooks rack to this. I only had solid fixings in the corners so used these to fix the baton and then had cavity fixings across it to help reduce the twist when guitars are hung.
A single baton still had a bit too much twist when adding guitars so I beefed it up by adding an additional baton above and screwing through the original baton into it. It’s now significantly stronger and works a treat.
Bought this for my son's birthday to hang 9 guitars. He absolutely loves it, really neat, practical item.
Arrived promptly .Excellent customer service Thank you
Purchased the guitar hangers, superb product and very easy to install. Great customer service and prompt delivery. Would happily recommend and is worth every one of the 5 star rating.
This is an excellent solution for decluttering your floor and hanging it on the wall instead. Couldn't be more pleased.
Really pleased with my purchase! It was relatively simple to install and the guitars look great
I saved a lot of space with these hooks, nice. Greetings from Italy.
My guitar racks and hooks arrived well packaged and on time quality is very good and they were reasonably easy to fit. I have attached a couple of photos of them installed and I’m very pleased with them. If I may make a couple of suggestions when tightening the hooks the locking plates tend to rotate perhaps you could include a small tool with which to hold them steady whilst you turn the bolt. The only other suggestion is I wish I could have got them in a dark blue with matching bolt heads so some more colour options would be brilliant. I will be back in touch in the future to buy some racks for my garage when I get round to organising it many thanks for your prompt and excellent service.
I will be recommending these to my musical buddies.
excellent communication and service and after care for a brilliant product. highly recommended!
I purchased this as it had the potential to hold the majority of my guitars parallel to the wall (thus on display). I received the unit with comprehensive install instructions and after 20mins everything was installed. Due to the nature of my walls I decided to use different extra long bolts for extra safety. I have 9 guitars and a couple of mandolins on the unit which exceeds that stated by the manufacturer but shows that it can take it (with the additional bolts). The only issue was the sprung hangers would pull apart but once I mentioned this, I immediately received velcro ties that soled the issue. I really can't fault the aftercare and the willingness to find solutions was refreshing and exceptional. I would have no issue dealing with them again.
