Great system and instructions but poor bolt

The system is great and instructions very detailed.

However despite following the instructions and applying plenty of lubricant to the screw they ended up rounded so the bar isn’t fully flush and can’t remove them to replace

Thanks for the review. We have already sent you a full set of new wall fixings.

We use 60mm long steel bolts with a hex head and Fischer (German) wall plugs. These are super strong but a bit more difficult to wind into the wall than cheap plugs and screws.
If you don't follow our instructions to lubricate the thread, make sure the hole is deep enough and to use the short arm Allen key supplied (rather than a long arm Allen key or a power tool) there is a chance you will round the head of the hex bolts.

Having emailed you yesterday, I gather that you have now been able to remove the rounded bolt and resolve the problem, which is great. If you need anything else please just pick up the phone or drop me an email.

Bought the Gear Hooks inverted V after looking at various other makes and models. The price was very competitive. Arrived very quickly and was very well wrapped. The 6-bike storage rack feels sturdy and well made, and it was straightforward to assemble. It keeps the bikes neat and organised without taking up too much space.
