Extra GearHooks® are available to expand, upgrade or customise your existing GearRail and to provide the maximum storage in the minimum space.
There are specific ski storage hooks, snowboard storage hooks and hooks for ski or snowboard boots.
Most GearHooks are general purpose and can store clothing, helmets, rucksacks, avalanche, ski touring and climbing equipment. Longer GearHooks can be used to store more of any of these or a mix of gear.
DP25/200, 25mm gap x 200mm long hooks are designed for a single pair of skis, poles and a helmet but can be used for other things like ice axes or transceivers, probes and avalanche shovels.
DP25/300, 25mm gap x 300mm long hooks are designed for a snowboard or 2 pairs of skis but can be used for more ice axes or transceivers, probes and avalanche shovels. A single snowboard can hang by the front binding but this may require extra height if skis are also on the rail. To hang snowboards by the tips you have to mount 2 together, back to back.
DP45/300 45mm gap hooks x 300mm long can be used to hold ski or snowboard boots or climbing ropes. They are really useful if you just want to use each prong for lighter items like clothing, helmets, transciever, shovel, probes etc.

Each GearHook® is Manufacture from cold formed steel with bright zinc plating to prevent corrosion and has a soft rubber coating to protect your equipment. It can be adjusted up, down and sideways to stop adjacent parts colliding and comes with a CNC machined clamp, Hex head bolt and M8 sliding nut enabling it to be fitted anywhere on the GearRail®.

I was doing a garage renovation and was looking for some nice gear hooks that would fit on my cross beams, just below the ceiling. Most of what I could find online just looked cheap and flimsy and their shape limited what I could store on them. The Gear Hooks and Rails are really solid and strong, and the shape has great carrying capacity. The hooks with long protective sleeves look very neat.

I was a bit skeptical as to whether the 300mm hook would hold the skis and boards up without sagging. Need not have worried. Very easy to fix onto the wall and ver very sturdy. Industrial use here with snowboards, ski’s and longboards including helmets, poles boots etc piled on. I inverted the hook to store my longboards. Definitely dip the bolts into oil or wd40 as per instruction, as my neighbour who bought this before ended up stripping the bolt head. He had the replacement sent straight away though. All in all a very compact and sturdy solution to store a lot of snow gear. Very happy.
