The GearHooks SBH1 can be used to mount 1 snowboard by a binding or two boards, back to back, by their tips (opposite tips need to be strapped). The same hook can be used for 2 pairs of skis.
Each GearHooks SBH1 Snowboard Hook is 300mm long double prong with a 25mm gap, made from a single bar of cold formed, zinc plated/galvanised mild steel which is CNC manipulated into an elegant, swan neck hook which is perfect for the job.
Each prong is fitted with a soft PVC coating to protect your board from scratches or damage.
Unlike many wall mounting hooks, the GearHooks SBH1 fits to the wall with a single 5mm or 8mm hole, so you don't have to worry about lining up 3 or 4 tiny holes.
You can fit the hook in under 2 minutes!! with basic DIY tools and skills. If you can drill a hole, you can fit a GearHook.
They come with everything you need to fit them to any wall including breeze block, brick, concrete, plasterboard battens or wooden beams and will support up to 25Kg.
The same GearHook can be used to store 2 pairs of skis as well as clothing, helmets, backpacks, transceivers, shovels and probe, ice axes, crampons and other climbing gear.
Other GearHooks are available for skis and boots. If you have more than 2 pairs of skis or boards to store then a GearHooks Ski Rack will store up to 12 pairs of skis, 6 snowboards or any mix of snow sports gear, in just 1M of wall space.
The GearHooks® SBH1 Ski Storage Hook includes;
- 1 x cold formed, CNC manipulated, double prong steel ski hook (300mm long) with bright zinc plating to prevent corrosion

- 1 x CNC machined clamp in black engineering polymer that is stronger than aluminium
- 1 x hex head wall bolt (Allen Key) in bright zinc plated steel for wood or plasterboard battens

Love the product, easy to fit and very flexible use. I have it set up for skis and bikes and works really well
Does exactly what is says on the tin! very carefully packaged prompt delivery excellent product
I was doing a garage renovation and was looking for some nice gear hooks that would fit on my cross beams, just below the ceiling. Most of what I could find online just looked cheap and flimsy and their shape limited what I could store on them. The Gear Hooks and Rails are really solid and strong, and the shape has great carrying capacity. The hooks with long protective sleeves look very neat.
A wonderful product and excellent customer service!
I was a bit skeptical as to whether the 300mm hook would hold the skis and boards up without sagging. Need not have worried. Very easy to fix onto the wall and ver very sturdy. Industrial use here with snowboards, ski’s and longboards including helmets, poles boots etc piled on. I inverted the hook to store my longboards. Definitely dip the bolts into oil or wd40 as per instruction, as my neighbour who bought this before ended up stripping the bolt head. He had the replacement sent straight away though. All in all a very compact and sturdy solution to store a lot of snow gear. Very happy.
It's clear I’m an idiot, as I didn’t ready the comprehensive descriptions well enough and ordered the wrong hooks for my ski rack. Thankfully Luis understood my mistake and dispatched new hooks at the same time as I sent the ones I’d ordered back. He kept in touch with me throughout too. If only more retailers were like Gear Hooks - we'd have a much better experience when shopping. I thoroughly recommend both the product and the company. I think many of the owners in Pre d'Anne Chloe, Samoens will be doing the same thing soon!
These are neat, unfussy, robust and competitively priced.
Prompt service and exactly what I had hope for - have yet to install them but so far very happy with my choice compared to other options I researched before deciding on GearHooks.
I am really impressed with this ski rack. It is solid, well designed, simple to fit and obviously easy to use. The fitting instructions are well thought through and clear - much more than just a few line drawings. There is a level of care and thought that has been put into every element of this product, which I really appreciate. Would definitely recommend.
I needed six wall mounted ski storage hooks in a hurry for Christmas. Not only did Luis, who I have no connection with, ensure that I received them in time, he also included a personal hand written note with them. The product was also perfect for what I wanted. I can't recommend highly enough. Many thanks Luis, from Trevor McCallum, Coleraine, N Ireland and Les Gets, France.
