Guitar Hangers - extra GearHooks® for guitars and instruments

The GearHooks® GR guitar hanger and ukulele hangers can all be expanded, upgraded and customised by adding additional hooks to provide the maximum storage in the minimum space. Unused space between guitar necks can be filled with all kinds of gear or smaller instruments.

Extra guitar hangers include silicone sleeves which are suitable for instruments with Nitrocellulose lacquer and straps to stop the hooks spreading and to protect the outer guitar. They come with rail mount fixings.

The 45mm gap is ideal for most electric and acoustic guitars. For 12 string or Spanish guitars, with a neck wider than 45mm at the nut, you may need to spread the prongs on the hook which is easier with the longer hooks.

DP45/100S - Double prong, 45mm gap, 100mm long hook 
With Silicone sleeves suitable for one guitar or other instrument like a guitar, mandolin or ukulele.

DP45/200S - Double prong, 45mm gap, 200mm long hook
As above but 200mm long so suitable for two guitars or other instruments.

DP45/300S - Double prong, 45mm gap, 300mm long hook
As above but 300mm long so suitable for three guitars or other instruments.

The same hooks are available with PVC sleeves for 'standard' guitars and ukuleles that are used in schools or colleges etc. These are not suitable for instruments with Nitrocellulose Lacquer. We don't recommend these for use in private homes (just in case).

DP45/100P - Double prong, 45mm gap, 100mm long hook 
With PVC sleeves suitable for one guitar or other instrument like a guitar, mandolin or ukulele.

DP45/200P - Double prong, 45mm gap, 200mm long hook
As above but 200mm long so suitable for two guitars or other instruments.

Standard extra GearHooks for an amplifier, headphones, microphones, leads etc. come with PVC sleeves. They are suitable for other instruments such as a trumpet, cornet, tambourine or anything under 45mm wide (at the hanging point) that will sit between, or hang on, the prongs with Silicone sleeves.

DP25/100P - Double prong, 25mm gap, 100mm long hook
Suitable for one additional instrument that has a narrower neck such as a flute, clarinet, oboe or anything under 25mm wide (at the hanging point)  that will sit between the prongs on PVC sleeves.   

DP25/200P - Double prong, 25mm gap, 200mm long hook
As above but 200mm long.

DP25/300P - Double prong, 25mm gap, 300mm long hook
As above but 300mm long 

Each GearHook® is Manufacture from cold formed steel with bright zinc plating to prevent corrosion and has a soft PVC or silicone coating to protect your equipment. It can be adjusted up, down and sideways (or rotated 360 degrees if needed) to stop adjacent parts colliding and comes with a CNC machined clamp, Hex head bolt and M8 sliding nut enabling it to be fitted anywhere on the GearRail®.

Nitrocellulose Lacquer - For most users, we fit our guitar racks with Silicone sleeves. These should not react with the Nitrocellulose finishes which may be used on Vintage and very expensive guitars. 

For schools and colleges we will supply PVC sleeves as standard unless otherwise requested. These are harder wearing and more suited to these environments.
